'50 Shades of Gray' tied to sexual abuse in Illinois

There is no doubt that "50 Shades of Gray" has grown in popularity with the recent release of the movie, but it has now been tied to the type of publicity that filmmakers would rather avoid. According to the prosecution in a recent sexual assault case, a young man was trying to copy a scene from the movie when he assaulted a 19-year-old woman. The man is a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

According to reports from the case, the pair knew each other and had an intimate relationship in the past, but they were not dating at the time of the alleged assault. At around 5:30 p.m., they went to the dorm room where the man lived.

When they were in the dorm, the man apparently asked the woman to take off most of her clothes, and she went along with it, but he then tied her up, gagged her and put a hat over her eyes so she could not see. At this point, he took a belt and hit her with it, even when she asked him not to.

After the woman left the room, she met with police and made a report. However, sources involved in the case indicated that the man thought the whole incident, despite the woman's pleas for him to stop, was consensual.

In cases where people disagree about what they wanted to do or agreed to do, it is very important for sexual abuse victims to make sure that they know all of their rights and what steps have to be taken to protect those rights.
